🤝 About The Position

We want Klar to become the operating system for DTC brands to help them grow their business.

To accomplish that, we want to build a team of experienced eCommerce operators that work with our customers to help them grow their business.

We don’t want to work in silos, so you will get to work with our customers across their entire lifecycle:

  • Show interested brands how Klar works and explain how it can help them grow their business.
  • Onboarding customers to Klar and making sure they get the most out of our platform.
  • Support and advise them on the various challenges they face as they grow their business.

Our aim is for you to build a portfolio of brands around your interests & expertise. You will gain in-depth insights into successful businesses, build a strong network and develop expertise in the categories & disciplines of your choice.

We encourage you to use everything you learn to:

  • Create content that helps our customers but at the same time also everyone working in eCommerce, to grow their business and improve their profitability.
  • Work with our product and engineering team to develop features that will help our customers make the most of their data.

We want to maximize what you learn, both from working with your portfolio of brands and from an ongoing and fruitful exchange with other experienced DTC/eCommerce operators within Klar.

In this role you will get exposure to many different functions and work directly with product and engineering to improve our product.

  • Work from anywhere – we are based in Munich but are building Klar as a remote-first company. So if you are in Munich or want to work in an office with us, great! But if you’d prefer to stay where you are, no problem. We only care about output, not face-time. Due to the amount of customer contact in this role, it is important to us that you are in the european time zone.

 

💪 About You

  • You are among the best at what you do – we are looking for extraordinarily talented people that are looking to take their career and knowledge to the next level.
  • You have 2-3 years experience working with/at DTC brands – that could be either directly at a brand or through an agency. The function is less important – could be anything from Performance Marketing, Influencer Marketing, CRM, BI or eCommerce.
  • You are a numbers-driven person – you intuitively understand numbers and how they relate to each other. You like digging deep into numbers in order to uncover new and unique insights.
  • You optimize for learning – your main motivation at this point of your career is to learn as much as possible in broaden your tool set. You want to work with people of the same mindset and learn from each other.
  • You are naturally curious  you have a wide range of interests that you like to explore and are open to constantly being exposed to something new.
  • You easily connect with people – like we said, you will also be in contact with many of our customers. So you should be outgoing and make people instantly feel comfortable. You need to be fluent in English and ideally also German.

 

🏃Our Process

Since we are growing like crazy and have big plans, the starting date is ideally tomorrow. But for the right candidate, we are willing to wait. Quality always pays off.

Most of the process for this position will be handled by Franz and Frank.

  1. We review your application: Apart from your CV feel free to include a few words as to what motivates you to join Klar.
  2. We get to know each other: We have a 45-minute meeting in which we will tell you more about our vision for Klar plus, we’ll get to see whether both our expectations align.
  3. We really get to know each other: We give you a case study that you prepare and present to us We want to understand what drives you and where you want to be in the future. You can ask anything you want – nothing is off the table. We will talk for as long as necessary and by the end of it we should both feel comfortable.
  4. You meet the Co-Founders – ****we value strong fit and alignment within our team. This gives you and us a chance for a final check.
  5. You get an offer – and hopefully sign it ✌️

If all goes well, this process should be done within 2 weeks.
