Job Overview:

You will be responsible for driving Quality and Continuous Improvement across Asaphus Vision.

Tasks:

  • Quality Management Systems: Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems in compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 standards.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance product quality and efficiency.
  • Audits and Assessments: Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of quality processes, procedures, and audit findings.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and support to team members on quality standards and best practices.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to product quality and cybersecurity.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and operations, to ensure quality objectives are met.
  • ASPICE Compliance: Ensure software development processes adhere to ASPICE (Automotive SPICE) standards, conducting regular assessments and audits.
  • ISO 21434 Compliance: Lead efforts to integrate ISO 21434 (Road Vehicles – Cybersecurity Engineering) standards into our product development lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in software, Electronics, or Systems engineering and a minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience.
  • A passion for driving the adoption of quality processes.
  • Experience in defining quality assurance processes and procedures for the entire product development lifecycle, including hardware and software.
  • Experience leading QA audits of automotive product development teams.
  • Experience in defining and implementing QA competence management plans and QA training plans.
  • Commercial experience and training in ISO 9001, and preferably ASPICE, PPAP, ISO/TS16949, and ISO26262 standards.
  • Ability to discuss quality and reliability matters with professionals at Automotive Tier 1s and OEMs.
  • Experience in Quality Assurance within Automotive, Aviation, or other regulated industries.
  • Experience as a Product Engineer will be an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a positive attitude and enthusiasm for continuous improvement.
  • Ability to continuously learn new skills and stay updated in the field of quality engineering.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Proven leadership ability to guide and coach team members to meet project and customer goals.
