What do you contribute?

As Competitor Intelligence & Strategy Consultant (f/m/d), you will be part of our Siemens Mobility central strategy team and will enhance our competitive intelligence, as well as contribute to Siemens Mobility’s corporate strategy.

  • Your mission: keep up to date with latest developments in the competitive environment and provide valuable insights to our global strategy and business community using state-of-the-art tools
  • You will be responsible to manage knowledge on key competitors and the global competitive landscape and to generate transparency for strategic decision making
  • Also, you will drive competitor and market excellence leveraging powerful technology and tools e.g. by process automation, implementation of AI solutions for intelligent data collection & analyses, use of innovative platforms/dashboards
  • In doing so, you will ensure instant information about competitor’s performance, activities and strategy, e.g. by creating competitor reports, summaries of competitor events, as well analyses for top management
  • Next to this, you will support ongoing and ad-hoc projects and management requests, while leveraging competition related expertise and knowledge pools
  • In addition, you will closely cooperate with a variety of stakeholders, including Business Units, Regions and Functions of Siemens Mobility and Siemens AG

 

What do you bring along?

  • You hold an excellent master’s degree in business administration, economics, computer science, industrial engineering or another technical field of studies.
  • You have knowledge within the mobility sector (preferably with a focus on rail).
  • Next to this, you bring in several years of professional experience in at least one or two of the following business environments: Competitor & Market Intelligence, Strategy, Business Development, Management Consulting, M&A or Corporate Development.
  • Furthermore, you have already mastered first challenging projects and client situations, you know the relevant tools and methods in-depth, that are required to perform in a complex project with various deadlines and stakeholders.
  • You are confident in working with stakeholders at management level.
  • Because you act in a global function, you have a distinct intercultural competence and good English and preferably German skills.

Mobile working /Remote working

With us, you will have the opportunity to work hybrid. This means that you can work remotely to a considerable extent. We have officially regulated this through a company agreement.
