Engineering Manager – SAP LeanIX

As an Engineering Manager at SAP LeanIX, you will lead and grow a two-pizza team of product-minded, cross-functional developers. You’ll contribute to building and continuously improving our Software-as-a-Service product, supported by a Product Manager and UX Designer within your team. Your focus will be on solving challenging enterprise architecture problems through scalable and resilient software built on a modern tech stack and microservice architecture. Your team is one of five teams in our Inventory Tribe that builds the foundation of our product. Your team will focus on the central hub for accessing and editing the most important customer objects: the Fact Sheet Inventory. Your team empowers our customers to effectively search across our product in a unified way.

Who Are We Looking For?

• Someone who loves to lead engineering teams according to our engineering values and deliver customer value in a SaaS product environment.
• 5+ years of proven engineering experience with our technical stack and leading engineering teams.
• Strong spoken and written communication skills in English.
• Willingness to work on-site in our Bonn office on a regular basis.
• Bonus: Experience in building search engines, AI-assisted search, and domain knowledge in Enterprise Architecture.
