Amazon seeks a Principal PM-T with proven ability to influence across multiple organizations. Over the last 20 years, the share of physical gross merchandise sales sold on Amazon by third-party sellers has grown from 3% to over 60% in 2023. With over 2 million sellers in multiple countries listing their products for sale on the Amazon Marketplace, these sellers are increasingly critical to delivering on Amazon’s vision of offering the Earth’s largest selection and lowest prices.

And it’s a high bar too because our first-party business has grown dramatically over that period, from $1.6 billion in 1999 to $117 billion this past year. The compound annual growth rate for our first-party business in that time period is 25%. But of great importance are Fulfillment by Amazon and the Prime membership program. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
