Project Manager for Healthcare Software & Technology (m/f/d)

 

80-100%, Munich, Germany (hybrid)

Your mission will be coordinating all product development activities right from the start. Direct engagement with clients will be essential, involving the identification of their needs and crafting solutions that align with their vision, requirements and regulatory standards.

As project manager you’ll play a pivotal role. Depending on the project scope, collaboration with an internal and external teams will be necessary. A significant emphasis will be placed on your hands-on involvement, striking a harmonious balance between project management and execution.

To be successful, you need to be able to manage a variety of interfaces (technically and personally).

Role & Responsibilities

  • Identification and definition of customer requirements.
  • Definition of the product’s architecture.
  • Building the initial tech team and growing it as required.
  • Implementation of the initial MVP.
  • Driving and continuously developing the project’s roadmap.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, business economics or other relevant discipline.
  • Strong organizational skills for managing timelines, resources, and budgets effectively.
  • 5+ years’ experience in a similar tech leadership role.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams comprising developers, designers, and healthcare domain experts.
  • Understanding of front-end & back-end technologies and platforms.
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate project requirements, status updates, and risks to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, technologies, and market dynamics in the fast-paced environment of a healthcare startup.
  • Understanding of healthcare standards (HL7, FHIR, etc) as well as experience with certifying medical device software is a plus.
  • Strong ability to derive customer requirements in a dynamic environment.
  • Desire to sweat the small stuff.
  • Knowledge of Scrum or other agile methodologies.
  • Desire to work in an agile, fast-paced, collaborative start-up environment.
  • Ideally located in Munich or CET time zone.
