Siemens Advanta Global Practice Lead

Your Challenge

As Siemens Advanta Global Practice Lead – Strategy & Innovation Consulting, you will be part of the Siemens Advanta leadership team. As such you will play a key role in implementing the Siemens Advanta Strategy, driving Siemens customer value, innovation and speed and therefore helping Siemens Advanta and Siemens on its path to significant growth.

You will be accountable for delivering customer projects in quality, time, and budget. You will build adequate proficiencies to fulfill customer demand in collaboration with the Siemens Advanta Customer Engagement function, i.e., the Regions and Sub-Regions, Global Account Leads, Vertical Leads, and Customer Partners.

You will optimize utilization and ensure capability-specific and consistent people development in coordination with Siemens Advanta P&O. You provide governance (e.g., methodologies, standards, best practices) to the global Siemens Advanta Strategy & Innovation community.

This role requires a strategic people leader with deep consulting expertise and the ability to build trusted relationships with customers.

Your Responsibilities

  • Deliver High-Quality Customer Projects: Ensure projects meet quality, time, and budget, using recommended practices to drive successful and repeatable outcomes.
  • Develop Scalable Portfolio Offerings: Continuously develop modular, repeatable consulting offerings and methodologies by fostering ADV-wide knowledge-sharing communities.
  • Develop Industry-Leading Expertise & Thought Leadership: Build domain knowledge and provide thought leadership around Strategy & Digital Business Building, Customer-Centric Digital Acceleration, Business Performance & Transformation and engage with Siemens customers and Siemens as trusted advisor.
  • Be an outstanding People Leader and manage Competency & Career Development: Drive performance and people development to ensure consulting teams have the right skills, capacity, and training to meet evolving customer needs. Lead the teams creating a trusted and inclusive atmosphere. Develop leaders in your organization and beyond.
  • Engage with Siemens Product Development Teams and Siemens Experts: Enhancing Siemens offerings and improving Siemens’ customer value based on insights from Customer engagements.
  • Enable Siemens External Ecosystem: Complementing the capabilities of the Siemens external ecosystem partners, thereby increasing customer value and enable Siemens growth opportunities.
  • Support Customer Engagement: Work with the Customer Engagement function to identify upselling opportunities and new projects in existing accounts and support acquisition of new accounts.
  • Ensure Efficient Resource Allocation: Oversee engagement of resources in coordination with the global staffing function of Siemens Advanta Operations.
  • Drive Feedback Loops & Continuous Improvement: Collect insights from customers and internal partners to refine Siemens Advanta repeatable offerings and enhance project execution.
  • Leadership: Collaborate across all of Siemens Advanta to ensure overall success while demonstrating and implementing Siemens Advanta’s values and behaviors. Contribute to developing outstanding talent across the organization.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Several years of experience in managing global professional services, including consulting and technology service lines.
  • Advanced degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in developing and driving consulting methodologies, professional service offerings, and business strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of technology-driven consulting, portfolio development, and industry trends.
  • Strong customer and industry understanding in relevant key markets.
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams, managing competency development, and driving workforce efficiency. Track record of building a positive culture within an organization.
  • Strong ability to collaborate with product development teams, external partners, and Siemens technology teams.
  • Understanding of the Siemens products, solutions and technology stack including IoT architecture, edge devices, sensors, hardware, security, IT, OT and AI is a plus.
  • Ability to engage at C-level or board level of Siemens key customers and to build strong professional relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills.
