What do you contribute?

In your role as Test & Commissioning Manager (f/m/d), you will:

  • Plan, organize and carry out all commissioning activities for various complex railway electrification projects on-site together with our commissioning engineers (f/m/d), including interface tests and validation of step sequences and operating modes.
  • Adjust parameters of the protection and control functions in close coordination with other specialists (f/m/d) from module management system and current control system.
  • Be responsible for compliance with contractual specifications in terms of functionality, quality, deadlines, and costs (including claim management).
  • Report the current project status to the project management and other stakeholders at regular intervals.
  • Support the technical management in coordinating internal and external employees and other third parties in the implementation of the project.
  • Document test results and revise the project documentation, e.g. circuit diagrams, etc.
  • Be responsible for troubleshooting, including escalation management and professional cross-functional communication with all parties involved, including third parties and customers.
  • Ensure compliance with the relevant regulations in the field of work, safety, environmental protection, and information security.

What do you bring along?

  • You hold a degree in electrical engineering and/or electronics, ideally a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree with a proven track record.
  • You have many years of experience in electrical (AC&DC) commissioning as well as in commissioning management.
  • You have technical expertise in the field of converter stations, which includes ideally multi-level frequency converters (10-50MVA), converter control systems, and higher-level control systems (e.g., Simatic TDC, Simatic S7, WinCC) as well as high and medium voltage switchgear, etc.
  • You have already gained experience in technical management, and intercultural experience through assignments abroad is a plus.
  • A willingness to travel of up to 80% is required.
  • You are fluent in English. German language skills are desirable.
